  • Jane Warwick

Jane was the winner of March’s Battle of Kanekalon!

We went on a little photoshoot in the woods where she waded in the water and caught the eye of everyone who walked past. After the photoshoot, we had our interview.

The interview is episode 9 of the podcast and you can find some stand out quotes as well as pictures from the photoshoot in Vol 1 #4 of the magazine.

  • Haus of Heaux

Koee and Becca sat down with Vanta Black, Vermillion, and Coop De Vil Heaux of the Heaux family to discuss drag, transness, egg goop, and creativity. We are all in awe of this drag family. Their creativity and wisdom inspires us to create something.

Learn to sit in your goop and have fun with it in episode 6 of the podcast and in Vol 1 #4 of the magazine.

Find the Heaux family on Instagram @vermillionheaux @vantablackheaux and @coopdevilheaux and at the Barzarre in Wilmington, NC monthly.

  • Poison

We had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Poison, a force of nature in the world of performance and self-expression. She’s a powerhouse, bold, unapologetic, and deeply in tune with herself. From drawing inspiration from fierce, femme villains to navigating identity and healing, she shared so much insight about what it means to fully step into your power.

Listen to episode 7 of the podcast or read a portion of her interview in Vol 1 #3 of the magazine.

  • Mother Inc

We had the privilege of sitting down with Mother Inc to discuss drag, grief, theatre, and so much more. This was a very open and vulnerable conversation you won’t want to miss.

Listen to episode 4 of the podcast for the full interview or check out Vol 1 #2 of the magazine. She also had a poem in Vol 1#3 of the magazine!

  • Alex Thee Rabbit

Alex Thee Rabbit is a black trans woman, drag performer, and dedicated advocate for survivors of sexual assault - especially within the transgender community. In our interview with Alex, we explored the intricacies of drag, the nuances of womanhood, and the vital work she does to support survivors.

Listen to episode 2 of the Queer Vision Podcast and read Vol 1 #2 to experience her interview.

  • Ruby Liqueur

We sat down with the illustrious host of Glitter Hour, formerly at Ruby Deluxe, to talk about drag, food, growing up Pentecostal, and to clear up any confusion about who Ruby Ligueur is.

Ruby was one of our first supporters, has encouraged us every step of the way, and is a light for everyone who meets her.

Ruby was our first ever interviewee, before we knew we wanted to do a podcast. So if you’d like to read her interview, check out Vol 1 #1 of the Queer Vision magazine.

  • Koee of Kanekalon

One of our amazing co-founders is also a performer! Without Koee, we wouldn’t have so many important connections in the drag community we need to have such pivotal events.
