The Rainbow Stage is a Queerolina original open-stage showcase, first debuting in February 2025 and now, one year later, returning as a monthly community staple.
Created to uplift queer creatives across all forms of performance, The Rainbow Stage is an inclusive, supportive, and community-centered space where expression is celebrated and experimentation is encouraged. This isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence, storytelling, and showing up as your fullest self.
The Rainbow Stage is proudly hosted by Nebula, who will guide the afternoon with warmth, humor, and care, helping create a welcoming environment for both performers and audience members alike.
What Is The Rainbow Stage?
This is an open stage, welcoming a wide range of performative arts, including:
Drag (all styles & experience levels)
Poetry & spoken word
Live music
Dance
Experimental & interdisciplinary performance
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping onstage for the first time, The Rainbow Stage exists to make room for queer art in all its forms.
What to Expect
A curated run-of-show to ensure smooth flow and fairness
A judgment-free, consent-forward environment
A supportive audience made up of fellow creatives and community members
Hosted by Nebula, with a rotating featured entertainer each month
One random performer from the cast will be selected monthly to receive a paid booking at the next Rainbow Stage
Important Notes
This is an 18+ event
Space is limited; not all performer sign-ups may be selected
All performances must align with community guidelines around consent, respect, and safety
Selected performers will receive arrival times, tech details, and additional info in advance
Backstage space is limited; performers should be prepared to arrive as close to stage-ready as possible
Due to current venue policies, burlesque performances cannot be accommodated at this time
